Questions Families Ask Most

Choosing the right residential care community is an important decision, and we want you to feel informed every step of the way. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about our care, pricing, daily life, and what residents and families can expect at North Star Residences.

Boutique living offers a smaller, more personal alternative to a large campus-style community. At North Star, our home includes just 13 private suites, allowing residents to enjoy privacy, familiar surroundings, personalized support, chef-prepared meals, activities, and a close-knit environment where our team has the opportunity to truly know each resident.

Private suites at New Hope generally start around $8,500 per month. Final pricing is based on each resident’s individual needs and care assessment. We are happy to explain current pricing, availability, and what is included before you schedule a tour or make a decision.

New Hope’s monthly fee is designed to cover many of the services residents need for comfortable daily living. Depending on the resident’s individual needs, this may include a private suite and bathroom, 24-hour support, chef-prepared meals, medication management, housekeeping and laundry, activities, CarePredict technology, and access to comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces.
We will review exactly what is included with your family before move-in.

Boutique living is generally paid for privately using personal income, retirement savings, proceeds from the sale of a home, long-term care insurance, or assistance from family members. Some veterans and surviving spouses may also qualify for certain VA benefits.

Because every family’s situation is different, we encourage you to speak with your financial or benefits professional about the options available to you.

Medicare generally does not pay for the monthly cost of boutique living. Medicare may continue to cover qualifying medical services, physician visits, therapy, hospice services, or other eligible healthcare expenses separately.

Families should speak directly with Medicare or their insurance provider to understand their individual coverage.

Support is personalized to each resident’s needs and may include assistance with daily routines, personal care, mobility, medications, meals, housekeeping, laundry, activities, and other everyday needs.
